- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. white corn syrup
- 1/3 c. water
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla
- 3 qt. popped corn
Directions

1Put sugar, corn syrup, water, butter and salt in a saucepan and cook, stirring, until the sugar is dissolved.

2Continue cooking without stirring until syrup forms a brittle ball in cold water.

3Add vanilla and stir only enough to mix it through the hot syrup.

4Place the popped corn in a bowl large enough for mixing. Pour the cooked syrup slowly over the popped corn and mix well. Wet hands slightly and shape corn into balls using only enough pressure to make the balls stick together.
