- 6 qt. popped popcorn
- 1/3 c. light corn syrup
- 1/3 c. water
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sugar
Directions

1Keep popcorn hot in 300° oven.

2Stir and cook sugar, corn syrup, water, butter and salt until sugar is dissolved.

3Continue cooking, without stirring, to 270° or until syrup forms a brittle ball in cold water.

4Add vanilla.

5Pour syrup slowly over popped corn, mixing well to coat every kernel.

6Grease hands with butter before shaping in balls.

7Makes 12 medium-size balls.
