- 4 qt. popped popcorn
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown Karo syrup
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Put popped corn into large mixing bowl.

2Combine sugar, syrup and water in large saucepan; bring to a boil.

3When it boils it will expand in the pan.

4When the mixture receeds after boiling a few minutes, it will be almost ready to remove from heat but continue to boil until it reaches a reasonably firm ball tested in cup of cold water.

5Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla. Drizzle over the popped corn being careful to stir until all corn is covered with syrup thoroughly.

6Wet hands with water and form into balls being careful not to pack too tightly.

7Place balls on waxed paper until ready to serve.

8Keeps at room temperature for several days.
