- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. white corn syrup
- 1/3 c. water
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 qt. popped corn
Directions

1Combine sugar, syrup, water, butter, vinegar and salt.

2Cook, stirring, until sugar is dissolved.

3Continue cooking without stirring until syrup reaches 270° or forms a brittle ball when dropped in cold water.

4Add vanilla.

5Pour syrup over popped corn, stirring until all kernels are covered.

6Grease hands with butter and shape into balls.

7Makes 12.

8Do not double recipe.

9It is better to make several small batches.
