Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/4 c. oleo
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. butter extract (optional)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 qt. popped corn (keep warm in 300~ oven)

Directions

    Pop popcorn and keep warm.

    Cook first 4 ingredients until sugar melts.

    Keep cooking, without stirring, until it forms a hard ball when dropped in cold water (270°).

    Add vanilla and butter extracts.

    Pour syrup over popped corn.

    Coat pan with oleo and form balls.
