  • 3 qt. popped popcorn
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 c. molasses
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Boil mixture until crackles (290° to 300°) when dropped in cold water.

    Add 1/4 teaspoon soda.

    While foaming, pour mixture over corn.

    Form into balls while warm.

    Makes 12 (3-inch) balls.
