- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. light corn syrup
- 1/3 c. water
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla (add later)
Directions

1Combine sugar, water, butter, corn syrup and salt.

2Cook, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved.

3Turn heat down and continue to cook without stirring until syrup reaches 270° to a full, rolling boil and a teaspoonful dropped into cold water forms hard, brittle ball.

4Add vanilla carefully.

5Pour syrup over popped corn; mix until all kernels are covered.

6Grease hands with butter and dip palms in the popcorn.

7Form into balls.
