- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 c. milk
- 2 c. flour (not self-rising)
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Heat oven to 450°.

2Grease 12 deep custard cups or 16 muffin cups.

3Measure all ingredients into mixing bowl.

4Stir with fork until smooth.

5Fill custard cups half full, muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake 25 minutes; lower temperature to 350° and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer or until deep golden brown.

6Remove from cups immediately (or serve from pan).

7Serve hot.

8Makes 12 to 16 popovers.
