- 2 qt. popped corn
- 1 1/3 c. pecans, toasted in oven (optional)
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Karo (white)
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix together popped corn and pecans.

2Combine sugar, Karo, butter or margarine and salt in saucepan and stir until it boils. Cook syrup, stirring occasionally for 10 to 12 minutes, until it turns caramel color.

3Remove from fire and add vanilla.

4Pour over popcorn mix and stir until covered.

5Spread on waxed paper until cool.

6Break in pieces and store in a closed container.
