  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 1/4 c. poppy (scant) seed

    Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix for four minutes. Grease the pan well with shortening and flour.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

    Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.
