Poppy Seed Chicken

  • 2 lb. chicken breasts
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. Ritz cracker crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. poppy seed
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms

Directions

    Cook chicken until tender, about 30 to 40 minutes.

    Pick chicken off the bones and place in the bottom of a greased casserole dish.

    Cover with the sliced mushrooms.

    Mix together sour cream and mushroom soup and pour over chicken.

    Top with mixture made of poppy seed, melted butter and cracker crumbs. Salt and pepper to taste.
