- 3 lb. hamburger
- 1 c. quick rice
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. cajun spices
- 1/2 can tomato juice
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 eggs
Directions

1In large mixing bowl, add hamburger, rice, eggs and spices. Mix well.

2Roll into golf-ball size balls.

3Place in a large saucepan.

4Cut bell pepper into strips and onion into rings.

5Add to saucepan.

6(If you like spicy foods, at this time, add more spices.)

7Cover with tomato juice.

8Cook over medium heat until balls are done in middle, approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
