- 6 lb. fresh shoulder
- 2 c. celery, chopped
- 2 c. onion, chopped
- 2 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/8 c. salt
- 3 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 tsp. red pepper
- 2 c. tomato paste
Directions

1Cook shoulder until it falls from the bone.

2When cool, shred meat and set aside.

3Cook vegetables slowly in the oil until tender.

4Add sugar, salt, dry mustard, red pepper and tomato paste.

5Simmer for 30 minutes, then add vinegar.
