Pork Chops With Beer

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 pork chops, 1-inch thick
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 c. light beer
- 1 c. beef broth
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. caraway seed
- 1 Tbsp. mustard
Directions

1Combine flour, salt and pepper in a plastic bag.

2Add chops and shake to coat.

3Brown chops on both sides in oil in a large skillet.

4Remove and keep warm.

5Drain off fat from skillet, leaving brown bits in bottom.

6Add beer, broth, garlic, caraway seed and mustard.

7Bring to boiling, stirring and scraping to loosen brown bits.

8Lower heat, simmer until pan liquid is reduced to 1 cup.

9Return chops to skillet.

10Bring to boiling.

11Cover and lower heat.

12Simmer, turning once, about 45 minutes, until chops are tender.

13Serve chops with pan liquid spooned over.
