  • 3/4 pound pork chops thin
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion medium, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tomato crushed
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon powder
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 2 1/16 cups mushrooms sliced
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons light cream

Directions

    Cut the pork chop into strips 1 centimeter wide. Cook the pork, onion, and garlic together in the olive oil, stirring occasionally. Cook for 4-5 minutes, until the pork begins to brown.

    Add the flour and tomato, stir well, and add the water and bouillon.

    Add the pepper, mushrooms, and nutmeg. Let come to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer for 20 minutes, with the pan covered.

    Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Add the cream, stir to incorporate, and serve.
