  • 2 (5 oz.) cartons plain yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 3/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • bay leaves
  • 6 peppercorns
  • 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • grated zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pork roast or pork chops

Directions

    Combine first nine ingredients.

    Pour over meat that has been well pierced.

    Leave 6 to 8 hours or more refrigerated.

    Remove bay leaves and bake at 375° for 1 1/4 hours, basting frequently.
