  • 2 smoked boneless pork chops, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 can boiled bamboo shoots, sliced
  • 4 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 6 lettuce leaves, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 onion, thick slices
  • 3 tbsp shaoxing or cooking white wine
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 dash ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

    Mix sliced meat with 1 tbsp.

    Soy sauce

    Heat vegetable oil and sautee pork for 2 minutes

    Add bamboo and mushrooms, cook for 1 minute

    Add onion and lettuce and cook for another minute

    Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine wine, water, beef cube, oyster sauce and cornstarch.

    Add mixture to pan and stir frequently until thickened.

    Add a dash of pepper and sesame oil and serve
