  • Pork butt or shoulder roast
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. onion salt
  • 1 tsp. fennel seed
  • 1 tsp. rosemary
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. celery flakes
  • 1 tsp. dried parsley
  • 1 tsp. black pepper

Directions

    Cut deep slits in top & bottom of the roast.

    Mix spices together and put a spoonful in each slit.

    Cover loosely and bake in oven overnight at 200°.

    Take roast out and pull meat apart with forks.
  5. 5
    Add 1/2 cup water, cover and bake another 2 - 4 hours at 200°.
