  • 1 (1/4 ounce) package unflavored gelatin
  • 14 cup cold water
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 1 34 cups hot coffee
  • 14 cup Irish whiskey (or other alcoholic beverage) (optional)
  • whipped cream

Directions

    Sprinkle gelatin over the cold water and let stand until soft, 5-7 minutes.

    Combine sugar, coffee and whiskey.

    Add gelatin and stir until fully dissolved.

    Divide mixture among 4 small coffee cups.

    Refrigerate until set.
