Ingredients
- 2 lb. roast
- 4 or 6 medium potatoes
- 2 medium onions
- 6 or 8 carrots
- 2 stalks celery
- 2 bouillon beef cubes
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 c. water
- 1 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Place roast in large roasting pan.

2Clean and quarter potatoes, onions, carrots and celery.

3Place around roast. Sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper.

4Add bay leaf.

5Mix bouillon cubes in two cups of water.

6Pour over meat and vegetables.

7Cover and bake at 300° for 2 hours.

8Remove bay leaf before serving.

9Serves 6.
