  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 2 c. warm water
  • 10 c. flour
  • 2 c. mashed potatoes
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. Crisco (lard)
  • 2 beaten eggs

Directions

    Soften yeast in water for 10 minutes, then add 4 cups flour. Let set 1 hour.

    Add 6 cups flour, potatoes, sugar, Crisco and eggs.

    Mix well and let rise for 2 hours; punch down.

    Drop by teaspoon or make a small ball.

    Let rise until double.

    Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
