Ingredients

  • 8 to 12 c. onions
  • 1 large stainless pot of water (approximately 2 gal. water)
  • 1 c. parsley
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 1 c. potato mix (French's or Trio)
  • 1 qt. milk

Directions

    Mix all the ingredients together and form a small cake (pat between hands) and fry.

    If batter appears too thick, add more water a little at a time.

    This is served at the Kutztown Folk Festival.

    Eat with butter or gravy.

    Makes 2 1/2 gallons.
