- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
Directions

1Melt shortening in an iron skillet.

2Mix the potatoes, egg and flour. Shape into balls.

4Flatten with a spatula and fry on both sides until brown.

5For extra flavor, add 1 tablespoon minced onion to the potatoes and flour.
