- 1 (32 oz.) pkg. hash browns
- 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. chopped green onions
- 1 c. crushed cornflakes
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Melt 1/2 cup butter.

3Pour into 9 x 12-inch dish.

4Add 1/2 package of hash browns.

5In a separate bowl, mix soup, sour cream, milk and green onions.

6Pour 1/2 of mixture over hash browns.

7Pour remainder of mixture on top.

8Add remainder of hash browns.

9Pour remainder of mixture on top. Sprinkle remainder of cheese on top.

10Cover with crushed corn flakes.

11Pour 2 tablespoons of melted margarine over mixture.; Bake for 45 minutes or until done.
