- 1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes
- 2 c. cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 1/2 pt. sour cream
- 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. margarine
Directions

1Place partially thawed hash brown potatoes in bottom of a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Cut up 1/2 cup butter in small squares and spread over potatoes.

3In a large bowl mix chicken soup, onion, sour cream and cheese.

4Spread over potatoes and spread with butter.

5Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1 hour.
