Potato Casserole

  • 6 to 8 medium potatoes
  • 1 pkg. (12 oz.) French onion dip
  • 1 pkg. sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 stick oleo in casserole
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. white or black pepper
  • 1/2 stick margarine for top

Directions

    Boil potatoes in jackets until tender.

    Cool and peel.

    Grate and mix with grated cheese, dip, melted butter, salt and pepper. Pour in greased 9 x 13-inch flat casserole.

    Put 1/2 stick margarine on top.

    Cook until bubbly at 350°.

    Add crushed Ritz, potato chips or plain crackers and lightly brown.
