- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 (16 oz.) sour cream
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 6 medium potatoes, cooked, peeled and coarsely shredded
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
Directions

1Combine cheese and 1/4 cup butter in pan.

2Stir over low heat until cheese melts.

3Remove from heat and stir in sour cream, onion, salt and pepper.

4Add potatoes, mixing gently.

5Pour into a buttered 2-quart dish or pan.

6Dot with remaining butter and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
