- 1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash browns
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 10 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 stick oleo, melted
- 1/3 can milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Thaw hash brown potatoes just enough to separate; melt oleo and saute onion.

2Add milk, soup, sour cream, salt and pepper and about 1/2 of cheese.

3Cover with foil and bake 1 hour at 325°. Uncover and sprinkle rest of cheese on top; bake 15 minutes more.
