Pineapple Cake

- 1 pkg. Duncan Hines butter cake mix
- 1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 stick margarine
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Prepare cake according to package directions.

2Take out 1 cup of mixture and set aside.

3Bake rest (2 layers).

4In a saucepan, mix pineapple, sugar, margarine and salt.

5Bring to a boil and cook 3 minutes.

6Add the 1 cup of reserved cake mixture and bring to a boil.

7Remove from heat.

8Cool slightly and use to frost cake.

9It will cover the top of both layers but not the sides.
