- 6 large cooked potatoes
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 c. lard
- 3 slices wheat bread, cut into cubes
Directions

1Saute bread cubes in lard until golden brown.

2Grate potatoes; add flour, salt and eggs.

3Beat mixture lightly.

4Stir in bread cubes.

5Mix well and form dumplings.

6Cook in boiling water for 20 minutes.

7Kettle should be covered during cooking.

8Serves 4 to 6.
