Ingredients
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 c. starter
- 6 c. plain unbleached flour
Directions

1Mix together sugar, oil and salt, water, starter and flour. Put into a large greased bowl, cover lightly and leave all night at room temperature.

2Punch down and knead a few times.

3If using 9 x 5 x 3-inch pans, divide dough in half.

4Knead each part 8 to 10 times.

5Put into greased pans.

6Brush tops with melted margarine.

7Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, 1 to 5 hours.

8Bake at 325°

9for 30 to 40 minutes, depending on the size of pans used.
