  • 6 medium idaho potatoes
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1 12 teaspoons salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • parsley flakes (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup milk

Directions

    spread white sauce over diced potatoes with skins on.

    pack in loaf tin, chill overnight or until firm.

    unmold and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

    cover with 1 cup grated cheddar cheese and bake 15 minutes longer.
