- 1 lb. potatoes (3 medium)
- vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Directions

1Boil potatoes with skins on until tender; cut lengthwise into eighths.

2Set oven to broil.

3Place potatoes, cut side down, in ungreased jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch).

4Brush with oil.

5Mix remaining ingredients; sprinkle potatoes with half the mixture.

6Broil potatoes about 3 inches from heat until potatoes begin to bubble slightly, about 10 minutes.

7Turn; brush with oil and sprinkle with remaining salt mixture.

8Broil until golden brown and tender, about 5 minutes longer.
