- 1 c. mashed potatoes
- 1 c. milk, scalded and cooled
- 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
- 2/3 c. Crisco
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 to 8 c. cake flour
Directions

1Cream the hot mashed potatoes, sugar and salt.

2Add yeast mixture and eggs. Add flour to make stiff dough.

3Let rise until double in bulk.

4Punch down and refrigerate.

5Make out rolls the next morning.

6Let rise again; allow at least 1 1/2 hours to rise. Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 400°.
