"Potato Soup"

  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 6 medium potatoes, diced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. sour cream
  • 1 pt. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 c. water
  • 1 medium chopped onion

Directions

    Cook diced potatoes and bay leaves in water for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Add salt, pepper and vinegar; stir well.

    Remove from heat, add gravy mixture and mix well.

    Return to heat and bring to a boil.

    Saute onions in a little shortening and stir into soup.
