Potato Soup

  • 5 or 6 potatoes
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1/2 pkg. bacon or 1 jar bacon bits
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken or broccoli soup
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1 3/4 c. milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Dice and boil potatoes.

    Drain, reserving 1 cup liquid.

    Saute onions.

    Fry or microwave bacon to crispy and crumble or use bacon bits.

    Combine potatoes, liquid, onions, bacon, sour cream, milk, salt and pepper.

    Heat and stir.

    Cook slowly for 2 hours.

    Do not boil.
