- 1 lb. bacon, browned and crumbled
- 1 qt. chicken broth or soup base
- 1 qt. chopped ham and broth
- 1 bunch celery, diced
- 3 onions
- 4 1/2 qt. shredded potatoes
- 4 carrots, shredded
- 2 qt. milk, thickened with flour
- salt and pepper for seasoning
- parsley or seasoning salt to taste
Directions

1Cook celery and onions in bacon fat until done.

2Cook and drain carrots and potatoes, then mix everything together.

3Add the milk last.
