- 5 lb. large potatoes
- 3 lb. bag carrots
- 1/2 stalk celery
- 1 onion
- 3 or 4 lb. ham
- salt
- pepper
- milk
Directions

1Peel and cut potatoes in large chunks; cover with water and cook 15 to 20 minutes.

2Cut carrots, ham and celery into chunks; add to potatoes.

3Also add onion and pepper to taste.

4Boil until water is almost gone; fill pan with milk.

5Cook about 20 to 30 more minutes.

6This will thicken itself.
