Ingredients

  • 5 or 6 large potatoes, diced
  • 2 large onions, diced
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 qt. water
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 4 pieces crisp fried bacon, crumbled and set aside

Directions

    Cook potatoes, onions, celery and salt in water until tender. Add pepper, milk and margarine and bring almost to a boil. Serve hot.

    When in the bowl, sprinkle crumbled crisp bacon on top.

    If desired, you can use shredded cheese also.
