  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. hot milk
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. celery salt
  • dash of cayenne
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • croutons

Directions

    Cut potatoes and onions very small.

    Cook in water until soft; mash.
  3. 3
    Add milk and seasonings, then put through Foley mill.

    Melt butter in pan; add flour, then gradually add soup mixture.
  5. 5
    Cook 5 minutes being careful not to scorch.
  6. 6
    Serve with crackers or croutons.
