- 4 large baking potatoes
- 2/3 c. butter
- 3/4 c. flour
- 6 c. milk
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 1 heaping Tbsp. chicken base (chicken stock)
- 1 to 1 1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Bake potatoes, cool and cut into 1/2-inch cubes, leaving skins on.

2Melt butter; add flour and stir until smooth.

3Cook for 1 minute; add milk and keep stirring until thick and bubbly.

4Add potatoes, salt, pepper, onions, bacon, chicken base and cheese; cook until thoroughly heated.

5Add sour cream.
