Potato Soup

Ingredients

  • 10 to 12 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 onion, cut up
  • 2 to 3 stalks celery, diced
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 3 to 4 pats butter
  • paprika (optional)
  • pinch of salt

Directions

    Cook potatoes, onion and celery in a pot of water.

    Fill little more than half the pot with water.

    Add salt.

    After potatoes, celery and onion are soft, take off burner.

    Add evaporated milk. Rinse can out with regular milk and add to pot.

    Add 3 to 4 pats of butter on top.

    Let melt.

    Add more butter, if needed.

    Let soup heat through on low heat.
  10. 10
    Add paprika when finished.
