Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 15 oz. sour cream
  • 2 lb. pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 12 oz. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 c. crushed potato chips

Directions

    Mix soup with sour cream and set aside.

    Thaw hash brown potatoes.

    Mix diced onion, cheese, salt and pepper. Then combine the two mixtures thoroughly.

    Melt margarine and turn into mixture.

    Put in large baking dish.

    Cover the top with crushed potato chips.

    Bake at 375° for 1 hour.

    Serves 12 to 15 people.
