  • 1 c. margarine, melted
  • 1 to 2 lb. pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1/2 c. chopped green onion
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 c. grated sharp Cheddar
  • 2 c. crushed corn flakes

Directions

    Melt 1/2 cup margarine in ovenproof 13 x 9-inch casserole in slow oven.

    Mix potatoes, onion, cheese, sour cream and soup and place in casserole.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Meanwhile, mix corn flakes with 1/2 cup melted margarine.

    Put on top of potatoes and bake 15 minutes longer.
