Ingredients: 1 1/2 ounces vodka; 3/4 ounce limoncello; 1/2 ounce simple syrup; 1/2 ounce lime juice; 3 ripe strawberries; 1 piece jalapeno (optional); 1 strawberry, for garnish; 1 lemon twist, for garnish

1/2 ounce simple syrup
1/2 ounce lime juice
3 ripe strawberries

Directions

In the bottom of a mixing glass or shaker, muddle strawberries and simple syrup.

Add vodka, limoncello, lime juice and ice.

Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled cocktail glass or serve over ice in a small rocks glass.

Garnish with a lemon twist and a fresh strawberry.

For a Texas-style kick, muddle a piece of fresh jalapeno with the strawberries.
