- 8 to 10 medium red potatoes (about 2 lb.)
- 1 jar (20 oz.) chopped pimentos, drained
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/8 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/8 tsp. onion salt
- 1 lb. process American cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 2 slices bread, cut into cubes
- 1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
Directions

1Boil potatoes until tender but firm.

2Drain and cut into 1-inch cubes.

3Place into a 2 1/2-quart baking dish (ungreased). Add pimentos, onion, garlic and onion salt; toss gently.

4Sprinkle with cheese.

5Place the bread cubes on top and pour butter over all.

6Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes or until bread is toasted.
