Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. chopped celery
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onions
  • 3 Tbsp. regular all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded cheese
  • 1 (7 oz.) can drained tuna
  • 1 pkg. peas and carrots, cooked and drained
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. refrigerated biscuits

Directions

    In a 2-quart saucepan, melt butter and saute celery and onion until tender.

    Stir in flour, salt and pepper.

    Remove from heat. Stir in milk.

    Cook over medium heat.

    Stir constantly until thickens.

    Add cheese, tuna and vegetables.

    Pour into casserole. Top with biscuits.

    Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
