- 1 stick Alco
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. Swans Down cake flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Cream shortening and add sugar gradually.

2Add one egg at a time and beat thoroughly.

3Mix dry ingredients together and add dry ingredients, alternating with milk.

4Add flavorings and beat well.

5Pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan. Cook 1 hour and 10 minutes at 275° or 300°.

6Cool 15 minutes and turn on rack to cool.
