  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 c. flour
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one.

    Add flour, alternating with milk a little at a time.

    Beat until smooth after each addition.

    Bake at 350°.

    After cake starts to brown, lower temperature to 325° until cake is done.

    Use tube pan.
