  • 1 lb. butter or 1/2 lb. margarine and 1/2 lb. butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 lb. confectioners sugar (4 c.)
  • 3 c. cake flour

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time.

    Beat together and slowly add flour and vanilla.

    Beat well.

    Use a tube pan, greased and floured.

    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325°.
